Uma Methodist Church "Uman Te Tangira" and the monument "Moan aeraken te Euangkerio i aon Banaba n te kawa ae Uma n Aokati 4, 1885 irouia Rev Walkup ao Kinta"

Uma village, on Banaba, was where Christianity first arrived on August 4 1885 by Rev Walkup and Kinta. This is the monument erected in our village on Rabi in remembrance of this important history on homeland Banaba in Kiribati.
